Who We Are

Our branch looks after the welfare of cats in the AL6 to AL10 postcodes.
We are a dedicated group of unpaid volunteers, but we are always looking for more help, so if you can spare some time, even just a few hours, please get in touch with us.
Do have a look at the Volunteering page for ways you can help us.

Everyone within our branch volunteers from their own home to

  • Find good homes for cats in need

  • Support and encourage the neutering of all cats

  • Improve peoples’ understanding of cats and their care.

If you know of any kittens with or without their mothers outside please contact us immediately as this is considered our highest priority.

We often have kittens available for adoption, so do please get in touch with us to ask. Kittens will not be homed to potential adopters working long hours away from home unless adequate provisions can be made for feeding and environmental enrichment. Ideally it is better to take two kittens, although it is acknowledged that this may not always be feasible. In this situation do consider taking one older cat. Older cats tend to stay closer to home and appreciate human company, although they do have their own specific needs too.

Help and Advice

We are also here for any advice or help that may be needed after a cat has been homed. We do not just 'home and forget'; all the cats we re-home are important to us.

Organic Rodent Control

Are you looking for organic mousers for your farm, stables or garden centres? We keep a list of people wanting to offer a position to our feral cats. If you would like to be added to our list, please email or phone. All our feral cats have been neutered, virus tested and ear tipped. We will provide food (to supplement their more natural diet!).
